One of the things I get asked all the time is, "Who is your ideal client?"

That answer varies depending on the genre of photography, but for business headshots, it's definitely that office or business that has a need for consistent and professional looking headshots on the company's website and marketing materials. Those types of clients can really benefit from my service and it usually only takes a day to go from looking pieced together and unprofessional to a very professional look that is consistently branded. 

For these business clients, I generally try and schedule a day during the week to come to their office and setup my studio and shoot a wide range of shots facing multiple directions so we make sure to get everyone's best angle! Clients can then go on my website in a password protected gallery and look at and download their favorite images.  If they want retouching, that is a simple per image cost option.  Sessions can be done in front of a plain color background of their choice or they may opt to use an indoor or outdoor area at the office as a background.  If they're not sure, I am glad to come out and do a logistics run through and advise the client. 

And then, the great thing about having a studio is next month when they are having to hire new people because their sales are increasing they can simply send the new employee to me as an individual session and get the same branded look right here in the studio using the backdrops we have here or even a composited shot using a stock background photo that we took previously.
